Manicure Monday featuring Essie Play Date

Everyone loves a Play date whether you’re an adult or a child. I am totally obsessed with this weeks manicure Monday featuring Essie Play Date. This bright purple creme is the perfect shade for the summer. I have been wearing this manicure for over a week. And it still looks amazing! Although this shade was launched back in 2012 with the Go overboard collection its still a pretty hot number. I love purple anything so I was really excited to wear Play date for the week. Play date is a creme consistency but it also looks sort of like a Neon Creme. Its really bright but not so bright that it’s annoying to the eyes.

I applied 2-3 coats just out of habit although you probably only need about 2 and like I said this is day 9 and I have very little wear on my tips. What are your favourite shades of polish to wear? Do you own play date? Let me know in the comments below!

What a pretty shade! I can’t wear nail polish because of my job. But I love to see other people’s gorgeous manicures! 🙂
