Wine Not! Wednesday Features Lamberti Santepietre Pinot Grigio
Hello, wine lovers it’s been a couple of weeks since I last featured a tasty wine for you to try. To be honest I have not been relaxing enough to enjoy a glass to tell you all about it. Today’s Wine Not! Wednesday Features Lamberti Santepietre Pinot Grigio say that ten times fast after 2 glasses. Lamberti Santepietre Pinot Grigio is a light lemon colour more on the delicate nutty side of wines that I have sipped on. It’s a crisp and light with a medium finish on the palate. In terms of complimentary food pairings here are a few you must try while entertaining guests or a quiet evening with a loved one.
Rhubarb Compote is very rich in flavour so having the Lamberti Santepietre Pinot Grigio is the perfect melody of taste. For the summer month, since it’s a little warmer than usual, we tend to eat lighter food than we do in the fall or winter months. Salads are a food that gets heartier in the summer but still remains lighter than a fall or winter meal. I love salads especially when they have fruit in them. A Lentil Berry Salad is the perfect pairing for Lamberti Santepietre Pinot Grigio between the nuttiness of the wine and the berries in the salad it had my palate on overdrive.
Lamberti Santepietre Pinot Grigio is an Italian wine made in Delle Venezie Italy. The Santepietre range of wines is the product of new training systems for grapes coming from selected clones. The vines are trained by a pergola system on well drained, firm, alluvial soil. This is another wine that is definitely on my list to have on hand to share with others visiting or to enjoy myself. It’s tasty and light and perfect for our summer season.
