Why I needed a Fitbit Charge HR?
A question that I asked myself during the holiday season of shopping was Why I needed A Fitbit Charge HR. For Black Friday as I was perusing the aisles of Best Buy waiting for some help, my eyes glanced the section of fitness trackers. There were a few to choose from in terms of brand names and within the brands were also a number of different model/ types to choose from. I left there feeling overwhelmed and that was the end of that.
Now that I own a Fitbit, I honestly don’t know what took me so long to get one. I have completely fallen in love with it, since Christmas day when I opened it. For those that don’t know what a Fitbit is, it’s a fitness tracker that tracks your steps, physical activity, calories in and out among other really beneficial features. What is really exciting is the fact that I can sync my Fitbit to my smart phone via bluetooth and watch my progress in real-time plus see who’s calling me.
I love that I can add other fitbit users to my list and we can all support each other with achieving our daily steps and goals. Here’s why you need to get a Fitbit too.
- The Fitbit give you Accountability – Being accountable for the goals you want to set for yourself. You can set up your own goals and fitbit is there to support you. Since having my fitbit this was an important aspect for me. If I knew that I wasn’t close to completing my goals for the day I didn’t stop till I did. That meant if I had an extra 1500 steps to make I went for a walk until I felt my wrist vibrate. I felt very accomplished and it pushed me to surpass my goal for that day. Leaving me accountable to follow through with what I had set out to do. Some days I get lazy and have no desire to excerise and I need the dicipline.
- The Fitbit keeps you moving – I keep moving I don’t just hang around anymore. When I am bored with nothing to do I set small goals and I get moving. My Fitbit HR has a stop watch so I can do exercises where I can time myself, record the time and work to beat it each time I do it again.
- The Fitbit helps you log Water intake – Sometimes I forget how much water I have taken in for the day. Fitbit is great for logging your water intake to avoid dehydration.
- The Fitbit helps with better Food choices – Ofcourse with any fitness journey diet plays a huge part in a successful fitness lifestyle. My fibit allows me to log every food that I ingest whether it be healthy or prepackaged to work on eating better.
