The Beaches Jazz Festival 2017 With Two Oceans
Taking in the last few days of this warm weather we are experiencing I can’t help but think about all the summer events my family and I attended this year. One, in particular, was the Beaches Jazz festival 2017 with Two Oceans. It was our first time ever attending a jazz festival in our city’s central core of Toronto. The music was incredible it was nice to be in a place where everyone young and old was there to enjoy good food and even better music. To be honest, up until that day I had never really appreciated Jazz music, I always associated it with that terrible elevator music you hear when entering a corporate building.
We were invited to hang out in the VIP area of Two Oceans which as you know is one of my favourite wines that I have posted about in my Wine Not! Wednesday series with complimentary wine and food for the kids we enjoyed the evening listening to live jazz performances and watching the crowd dance as well.
The kids had a really great time running about dancing and experiencing something different than they are used to. Next year I do plan to attend the festival again to see what else it offers during the week long festival. considering we didn’t get to do a lot of the summer activities we had planned be able to take in something different with the temperamental weather we had it was definitely a good day to hang out with the family. Since I was invited by Two Oceans to attend the Jazz festival I also wanted to share with you a recipe for the perfect cocktail that I enjoyed many times this summer using Two Oceans Moscato. If you are a fan of Moscato then you need to check out this recipe. What was your highlight adventure this summer? Let me know in the comments below.
