Summer Cocktail Pina Grigio| Feat Nugan Estate Annelise Pinot Grigio
With 3 weeks left until the school year begins again that means summer is almost through as well. Although I don’t want it to end I am working pretty hard at getting every last piece of summer I can. Whether it be a summer inspired dinner spread or a drink of some sort. Today I wanted to share with you the second last summer inspired drink. The Summer Cocktail Pina Grigio| Feat Nugan Estate Annelise Pinot Grigio is a light fresh cocktail with a hint of herbal notes. It’s the perfect drink to sit by the patio or pool and enjoy with a group of friends or on your own while reading your favourite book. Not forgetting to mention, who doesn’t like Pineapple? which is the base of this sweet treat.
I feel like Pineapple inspired everything from food, drinks all the way down to decor will never die. It’s just a fun take on summer that everyone seems to love and can’t get enough of. And of course Pinot Grigio the go to summer wine for everybody! Pina Grigio is a must have drink to enjoy this summer and can even be enjoyed all throughout the year if you really wanted to. I like to call it a secret weapon to a conversation when you are in a new environment with new people. If you love pineapple and pinot grigio as much as I do then you really need to give this drink a try. I can guarantee that it will be on your list of summer drinks to always have on hand when you are entertaining a group or even a treat for yourself.

- 4 oz Nugan Estate Annelise Pinot Grigio
- 1 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1/2 oz Lime juice
- 1/2 oz Simple syrup
- 1 Sprig of thyme, plus one for garnish
- Strip the thyme leave into a tall glass, add simple syrup and gently muddle with the end of a wooden spoon to release the oils from the thyme. Fill glass with ice then add lime juice pineapple juice and then the Pinot Grigio. Stir to combine. Garnish with remaining thyme.
