Can you believe that its November already! I feel like the months are just flying by and most days I can’t even keep up. I am lucky if I know what day of the week it is. Before we know it we will be well into the new year wondering where time really goes.  Pumpkin Spice is one of my favourite flavours to have during the Fall Season. Especially when you have the Fall weather that we have been having. Its hard to believe sometimes it even Fall.

I wanted to bake some cookies for my family since that’s normally what you do once the cooler temps set in. We were all feeling for some Snicker Doodle cookies and I decided to throw in some home made Pumpkin Spice into it. Just so I can saver the taste of it so more before those holiday tastes settle in.

What I love most about baking Snicker Doodles are number one they are easy to make and secondly the kids really like helping out. When it comes to dipping the cookie dough into the Cinnamon Sugar mix before they the cookie sheet. There are so many ways to enjoy Snicker Doodles, they have such a basic ingredient list that the possibilities in adding different ingredients is endless. These are my go to for the Christmas Holidays because I can bake them and freeze them in batches for a long period of time. They are hardy enough that they also make great cookie swap options for gifts too. I really hope you get to make your own and enjoy them like my family does. Happy Baking!

Pumpkin Spice Snicker Doodle Cookie Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Total Time: 22 minutes

Yield: 50 + cookies


3 C All Purposed Flour
2 Tsp Cream of Tartar
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 C Butter softened
1 1/4 C Sugar + 1/4 C Sugar
2 Eggs
1 TBSP Vanilla
1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
2 Tbsp Pumpkin Spice mix


Preheat Oven 375
In a stand alone mixer combine Butter with 1 1/4 C sugar until light and fluffy
Add Eggs and Vanilla on reduced speed (medium)
Add dry ingredients slowly while scraping the sides of mixer bowl with Spatula
In a small bowl add remaining Sugar and Pumpkin Spice
Using your hands, make 1 inch balls of dough
Roll balls in Cinnamon/Spice mixture and place on ungreased cookie sheet 1 inch apart
Bake for 12 minutes until lightly golden
Remove from heat and cool on wire racks
Store in an air tight container for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 3 months


You can purchase Pumpkin Spice seasoning or make it on your own. For this recipe I have my own that I put together.
