Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Rebel Bloom Collection Spring 2015

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Rebel Bloom Collection Spring 2015

Yes they are finally here and my stalking has now come to an end. I have been waiting for months for the Canadian launch of Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Rebel Bloom Collection for Spring 2015. Next to the Vivids collection and the Buffs collection this Collection is another one of my favourites to add to the list. It makes me so excited for the spring season and the bright fun colours I plan to wear.

The Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Rebel Bloom Collection is a collection with 10 shades to choose from in the US and 8 shades to choose from in Canada (I hate when brands do that). Moving on the Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Rebel Bloom Collection is a color saturated collection of bright pastels with shades like nudes, pinks, mauves, reds and my favourite…. Lilac.

Maybelline always has the best packaging. Nothing has change with the packaging accept for the cover now being pink in colour. The shade selection kind of threw me off with the red that was included but other than that I love the collection.

My least favourite shade from this collection would have to be the Petal Pink, reason being when I swatched it, it applied patchy. The texture is very creamy and smooth and left my lips very moisturized which brings me to my last issue with the collection. Since the consistency is so creamy some of the colours didn’t apply as opaque as I would have like. Other than those minor flaws I will certainly be picking up the rest to add to my ever growing collection.

What did you think about this collection? Let me know in the comments below.
