L’ORÉAL Infallible Lip Paints Review and Swatches 12 Shades
One of my favourite lip trends over the last few years has been bright vivid shades of lips. Since I am a simple person when it comes to the way I dress and keep my hair I love spicing things up with the lip shades I choose. L’Oreal recently launched their Infallible Paints line of 14 dramatic fashion forward colours that glide on smoothly and provide a high gloss, long lasting colour. The consistency is lightweight and never sticky. The applicator, patented and grooved allows for precise and perfect application each time you apply. As for the formula its a considered to be a gloss cream hybrid texture packed with a lot of pigment. Although they are long wearing, they do transfer colour and gloss when eating or drinking. But do leave back a fairly pigmented stain on my lips.
As I had stated the consistency is non sticky, however the texture is thick and can be considered a Lacquer. When I wore the lip paints I did experience a little bit of bleeding, but that can be avoided by wearing a father proof clear lip liner. There are a total of 14 shades but as usual for some odd reason in Canada we only carry 13 of the 14 (shade missing light blue shade). The infallible paints come in a squeeze tube packaging with a screw top applicator. The have appropriately 0.27 oz of product and range in price from $12.99 – $13.99 CAD I am totally looking forward to the brighter shades to wear during the Spring and Summer season.
