Le Petit Marseillais French Body Wash Review (pronounced Mar-Say-Yay)
Say bonjour to Le Petit Marseillais Body washes a body care line born in the South of France. An essential part in body care is finding a body wash that not only cleanses but also provides moisture to the skin. Le Petit Marseillais body washes first originated in France back in the 1980’s and is now offered in retailers like Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart to name a few. The brand offers body washes in both a cream and gel consistency and is PH neutral to avoid stripping the skin of its natural oils.
There are 5 deliciously scented washes available in Canada which are all inspired by Southern France. The scents available are Orange Blossom, Vanilla Milk, Lavender Honey, White Peach & Nectarine and lastly Cotton Milk & Honey. Of the 5 scents, Orange Blossom is the most sought after scent worldwide.
The Le Petit Marseillais body washes lather really well and left my skin feeling super moisturized. The consistency is thick enough that the right amount dispenses when the bottle is squeezed. The scents themselves smell very true to the ingredients listed and they don’t smell artificial like most of the other washes on the market.
“inspired by the nature to deliver joie de livre in a bottle”
I did notice that after using the body washes the scent still lingered for quite a few hours which is something that I have never experienced with any body washes I have owned, aside from the high perfumed scented ones that dry out my skin. What I love is how these washes can also be used on those that have sensitive skin. Overall I love the whole range of washes that I have received for review and I am really hoping that they decide to bring the men’s line to Canada soon. Because I secretly wish I didn’t have to share in the goodness with the rest of the family.
