Its 2 days until Christmas and I am totally excited about it, I have pretty much gotten everything ready that I can possibly do before our guests arrive. I know some of you put your trees up last minutes so I wanted to share my inexpensive DIY Christmas decor ideas for beginners to decorate. Since I change my colour scheme every year, it can get a little costly buying new ornaments so I decided that I would get crafty and repurpose what I have. The easiest way to transform new into old is simply by using spray paint. Krylon is one of my favourite brands of spray paint to use. It’s easy, the colours are vibrant and they last a really long time.
Inexpensive DIY Christmas Decor Ideas For Beginners
My colour scheme this year for one of my Christmas trees is Rose gold, white, silver, pewter, and an almond champagne shade.
For this year I was grateful enough to work with Krylon to create a few Kate spade inspired ornament to put on my trees they were really easy to make and really added a cute touch to my trees. Along with making ornaments I also flocked one of my trees and made a few other ornaments that I picked up at my local Dollar store. Below I have left the tools needed to create your own ornaments just in time to decorate.
My other tree is a deep royal blue, red, pine, green and gold. Last year I was able to transform a Marquee sign that I had to match my scheme last year which I also used this year. You can check out that post HERE
