Hard Candy so baked bronzers were first introduced to me a few years back when I was makeup shopping. They are affordable and the colour payoff is amazing. Unfortunately I really don’t use them to Bronze or darken my skin but rather to add a sunkissed glow. Especially in the summer when I am tanned its my go to, to make my skin glow that much more. To maintain and achieve a beautiful glow I will be sharing two bronzers from Hard Candy that not only are a great price they also deliver on quality too.
Hula Hula is a mid toned Rosey bronze with a semi satin finish whereas Tropics is Orange toned Bronze with Gold veining in it, Tropics is a little deeper than Hula Hula and a lighter hand for application is needed to avoid the Orange becoming overpowering. What I love about both bronzers is how smooth it looks on the skin. Unlike some bronzers that cause patchiness when its worn alone, you don’t experience this with Hard Candy’s So Baked Bronzers. Mainly because its a baked formula, I also love that its lightweight so it never looks heavy on the skin nor does it accentuate skin imperfections.
The price point is great too you can pick these up for about $8-$10 at Walmart and there are a few shades to choose from. The packaging itself it pretty sturdy, however my only issue is that the silver writing tends to rub off over time which is not a bad thing but its just something to make note of. Over all I love the performance, I would definitely purchase these once they are finished and the quality is fantastic, much better than some of the high end bronzers.
