Comfort Food For The Soul 5 Ingredient Biscuit Recipe
During the Fall season I love making meals that are quick and comforting to eat. One of my family’s favourite meal is Biscuits and Fried Chicken. However sometimes I just don’t feel like putting in the effort it takes to make them. It takes time and it seems like my kids and Husband are always hungry. So the patience game on an empty stomach is non existent.
Is it me or when making biscuits and you’re following a recipe there are never enough like the recipe says. Nor are they as big as the picture looks. So that got me thinking and I came up with a 5 ingredient recipe that have 3 things I know you will appreciate, if you also make biscuits at home. Number 1 they are huge! I mean they are about the size of the palm of my hand. Secondly my recipe actually makes a full dozen and thirdly the are finished in 30 minutes that includes the preparation process.
I prefer to make biscuits that are on the plain side so that I have the option to tweak my recipe when ever I feel like it. Since my family prefers a sweeter biscuits in this case I added more sugar than I did Salt. With my recipe, all of the ingredients I had on hand so I didn’t have to worry about running out to the store to pick anything up. They are also a good item to have for breakfast for the holidays or everyday if you have extra time in the morning to prepare and make them.

You can omit Soy Milk and use regular Milk or Heavy Whipping Cream. You can rewarm these Biscuits in the Microwave for about 30-40 seconds depending on you Microwaves heat All serves great with Butter inside or on top.
