Avon Moisture Therapy Ultra Hydration with Shea Butter Review
The ups and downs of Mother natures temperamental emotions this winter has my skin very upset. Its gotten so dry that even moisturizing body washes that normally work have been failing me. I exfoliate 2x week to see if that helps and that still has not made a difference. My back seems to be the worst, it gets so dry that after my shower my skin feels like its tearing to shreds. To the point where it burns pretty bad. Last month I was sent the Avon Moisture Therapy Ultra Hydration with Shea Butter lotion and along with that a Body scrub. Avon skin therapy has a range of body care products that help with issues on the skin, such as dryness and eczema just to name a few. For the Month of February I had been testing out the lotion and scrub to see how my skin responded to it. I first started with the scrub followed by the lotion and after my first use my skin felt really soft before I applied the lotion. Once I applied the lotion I noticed that my skin felt and looked noticeably hydrated. Besides the Winter being really hard on my skin I am also a diabetic so my skin drinks whatever I put on it and ends up still looks pretty flaky and dry especially around my shin area.
This wasn’t the case with the lotion after I let it absorb into my skin it didn’t look dry and the flakiness that I have was not as bad as it normally is. I also noticed that my skin didn’t look as dull because using the scrub I was able to slough away the dead skin. I loved the scent of the lotion, when you see a body care product that helps with dry skin etc you normally associate the scent with being more of a medicated scent or unscented all together. However the Avon Moisture Therapy Ultra Hydration with Shea Butter is lightly scented with Vanilla. my favourite scent. I really loved that the lotion was not sticky yet it was effective in moisturizing my skin the way it needed to be. Overall I love the results from the lotion and I would definitely suggest anyone looking for a lotion for dry skin to consider this one.
